K2 Photonics

K2 Photonics is a spin-off from ETH Zurich, dedicated to delivering the next generation of femtosecond lasers for precision sensing applications. Our lasers combine ultra-low noise, high power, and femtosecond pulse generation, making them ideal for frequency combs, metrology, and advanced industrial applications.

Our breakthrough single-cavity dual-comb technology enables two highly correlated pulse trains from a single oscillator—simplifying dual-comb systems while enhancing stability and precision. This innovation unlocks new possibilities in high-speed spectroscopy, semiconductor inspection, optical ranging, and time-frequency metrology.
