About K-UTEC AG SALT TECHNOLOGIES
K-UTEC AG Salt Technologies stands for potash and environmental technology. We are the privatised successor to the former Potash Research Institute of the Central German potash industry. Today, our field of activities extends far beyond potash mining and processing.
The "Potash Research Institute" was integrated into the management of combination KALI and established itself as the administration centre of the entire East German potash industry in Sondershausen in 1970. With decades of practical research and method development, deposit exploration and investigation of raw materials, an extensive base of knowledge and experience could be accumulated.
Our company emerged in February 1992 as the only branch of the former Potash Research Institute to be redeveloped and integrated into the Central German potash industry. An extensive potential for knowledge through practically orientated research and method development, exploration of deposits and the examination of raw materials arose.
