Kangaroo Bus Lines (KBL) signed a contract for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games to assist transporting VIPs and spectators, KBL was engaged by the State Government to provide support services to handle any overloads or issues that may arise through the network. KBL helped shift excessive crowds, working directly with the Department of Transport and Main Roads – a project that was pulled together in seven weeks.
G20 Leaders Summit

Kangaroo Bus Lines (KBL) was awarded a contract to supply 120 vehicles during the G20 Leaders Summit which was held in Brisbane, Australia. KBL lead the contract and procured sub-contractors from around the country, with 85 per cent of buses coming from Queensland operations. The event saw up to 25 world leaders, 4000 delegates and 3000 domestic and international media descend on the city.
