KELLNER & STOLL - STIFTUNG FÜR KLIMA UND UMWELT

The charitable KELLNER & STOLL Foundation for Climate and Environment is committed to foster the concept of sustainability and scientific expertise focusing on scientists at the starting point of their career mainly coming from the University of Bremen and its surrounding institutions. To this end, the foundation aims to stimulate education, science and development while simultaneously highlighting the importance of protecting our environment, climate and resources globally. It is furthermore based on the principle of generational responsibility towards addressing the major environmental and climate policy challenges society faces across the world today.

Set up by Dr Rita Kellner-Stoll and Reiner Stoll in February 2012, it was the first sheltered foundation under the aegis of the Foundation of the University of Bremen - following the “think global, act local” approach.
