Kenergia was founded in 2006 with the goal of turning photovoltaic technology into a solid, practical energy resource for Italy.

The company is led by Eng. Giovanni Simoni, one of Italy’s leading experts in photovoltaics. Simoni has worked professionally in solar energy since 1973, when he founded “Solar Energy Development” (S.E.D.) in London, and he was a founder and the first President of E.P.I.A. (European Photovoltaic Industry Association).
