Kitambaa is a unique and strategic pioneer in its approach by addressing structural factors (including poverty, harmful beliefs, social norms, and practices, policy gaps) underlying the menstrual challenges facing women and girls to bring about sustainable / lasting solution by creating a conducive environment where women and girls experience menstruation safely with dignity and thrive both socially and economically.
