Kitsap Community Foundation

The Kitsap Community Foundation is a tax-exempt, independent and publicly-supported philanthropic organization, organized and operated primarily as a permanent collection of endowed funds. Income from the investment of these funds provides long-term benefits to Kitsap County and its residents through creative advocacy and grant-making activities.

Our mission is to improve our community’s quality of life by connecting people who care with causes that matter. We realize our mission through:

1. Increasing the culture of philanthropy in our community
2. Building a large endowment and making grants to our community’s nonprofits
3. Strengthening the nonprofit sector in our community
4. Contributing to positive social change through civic engagement and leadership.
