Krakodlew S.A.

We are one of the biggest producer of metallurgical equipment in Europe. The foundry was established in 1966 as a department of ingot moulds of the Sędzimir Steelworks in Cracow. In 1995 on the basis of the ingot moulds department, the joint stock company Krakodlew S.A. was established. Since the beginning of half of the 1990’s, Krakodlew S.A. extended its manufacturing profile by including the production of counterweights for mobile cranes, drilling machines, excavators and forklifts. The foundry is equipped with three medium frequency induction furnaces with capacity 5,16,25 tons and with arc furnace with capacity 45 tons. The weight range of produced castings is from 1 ton up to 110 tons. New investments have allowed us to increase our production capacity and improve quality of our products.
