KTA-Tator, Inc., KTA for short, is a Consulting/Engineering firm founded in 1949 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our main specialty is consulting and inspection in the protective coatings and construction industries.

The staff includes professional engineers, senior coatings and environmental consultants, certified protective coatings specialists, chemists, certified coatings inspectors, steel fabrication inspection services, certified industrial hygienists, and certified safety professionals.
