Mian Khalid Mehmood C.E.O of K.T Surgico started his career in surgical industry as a forging
man in 1977. He worked his few primary years in different departments of manufacturing.
In 1980, Mian Tariq Mehmood, his brother, joined him as a partner and they started a small local manufacturing unit of surgical instruments. This was the inception of K.T (Khalid and Tariq) Surgico. Both gentlemen worked very hard and shortly became the largest local manufacturers of scissors and hemostats in the country.

In 1988 K.T became a corporation (Private Limited) and started a successful journey not only as
the manufacturer but as a leading exporter of surgical instruments.
