Lemonaid & ChariTea Foundation

The Lemonaid & ChariTea Foundation is a non-profit organisation based in Hamburg – St. Pauli. It was founded in 2010 and aims to contribute to the sustainable improvement of social, economic and ecological structures in the Global South. Particularly in regions that have been negatively affected by the structures of the global economy. These problems can be solved with the economic freedom of people living in these regions, which is why our work focuses on building up their resources. Our vision: All people have access to independent, self-determined and sustainable livelihoods. We are part of Lemonaid and thus part of a social business construct. A large part of our income is based on a sponsoring model with Lemonaid Beverages GmbH. We as the Foundation stand for the “Social” in Social Business. Although we are two separate organizations, we work together for the same vision.
