Les Aspin Center for Government

For over 35 years, the Les Aspin Center has advanced student leadership, service, and academic excellence. With programs in both Washington, D.C., and Milwaukee, the Center blends theoretical and applied approaches to public policy, creating high-impact learning experiences for students of all majors. While living, learning, and working steps from the Capitol, students gain hands-on policy experience and access to unique speaking events, networking opportunities, and cultural activities. Through our semester-long programs and dynamic short courses, incoming students join a community of over 3,000 Aspin alumni who are shaping innovative, responsible, and impactful policy making in Milwaukee, Washington DC, and throughout the world.
