About LGiQ
LGiQ was formed in December 2021 by our managing director, Michele Bennetts to improve the financial capabilities of the local government sector.
After going it alone for seven years consulting to local government organisations she finally gave in to the requests from her clients to provide ongoing accountancy services.
Knowing that finance professionals are hard to come by—especially those with local government experience—and not everyone needs the equivalent of a full-time employee, she began LGiQ.
At LGiQ we develop financial management improvement through partnering and mentoring with the organisations we work with, leaving a long-term legacy.
We can provide assistance with:
- Annual business plans and long term financial plans
- Annual financial statements
- Asset management and asset accounting
- Assessment and development of internal controls
- Monthly and quarterly reporting
- Costing analysis
- Service reviews
- Rating reviews
- Rates, payroll, debtors and creditors
- General ledger restructures
- Adhoc advice, mentorship and training
