Lomax + Wood supply made-to-order timber windows and door to suit the customer requirements. The company was established in 1967 under its original name, Ambass-a-door, but re-branded in September 2013. This was to incorporate Chris Wood into the company title who previously built up the Mumford & Wood brand before selling that company to venture capitalists. Lomax + Wood has enabled Chris Wood to supply quality timber sash windows, casements and doors at competitive prices into the UK market.
Lomax + Wood produce both heritage products suitable for conservation areas and contemporary styles for more modern projects. All are made-to-order so can be produced to any size or pattern depending on design and performance standards. The product range includes high performance sash windows, flush casement windows, French doors, bi-folding doors, entrance doors, stormproof casements and tilt-turn windows. All factory finished and double or triple glazed, single glazed available where building regulations do not have to be met such as in listed properties.
