About Looe Community Academy
Looe Community Academy is situated in the historic fishing town of Looe on Cornwall’s outstanding south eastern coastline, serving the beautiful coastal and rural villages and hamlets and is a very scenic 30 minute drive from Plymouth.
Assessed by Ofsted in January 2019 as being a good school, the Academy is an inclusive secondary community school delivering Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to 610 students aged 11-16 and of mixed ability.
Our mission is to create and sustain a caring, learning community of high quality, where everyone is valued for who they are and what they may become. Enshrined in Cornish, the Academy motto is “bydh gwella gylli” (be the best you can be).
