Founded in 2006 by a group of passionate travel professionals, the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) has grown to become the leading voice for travel agents, tour operators, and tourism industry stakeholders in the Maldives.
As one of the largest non-profit organizations in the country, we work to bring the industry together, empower our members, advocate for positive change, and promote the Maldives to the world.
For nearly two decades, MATATO has played a key role in shaping the success story of Maldivian tourism helping our nation’s most vital industry grow stronger through unity, collaboration, and shared purpose.
Proudly representing the Maldives as a PATA Chapter under the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), we continue to build global connections and open new opportunities for our members and partners.
