MATELYS - Research Lab

MATELYS is an independent research laboratory. Its expertise covers the fields of materials, acoustics, vibrations, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics related to Buildings, Transportation, Equipment and Environment. MATELYS characterizes materials and noise sources, prescribes materials independently from manufacturers and helps define realistic specifications, conducts research projects in the field of vibro-acoustics, thermodynamics, and flow in pipes digests scientific works and drives its partners toward the autonomy, designs, implements and supports original and GUI intuitive software products, distributes and supports equipment for the vibro-acoustic characterisation of sound absorbing materials. MATELYS approach has been awarded in 2012 with the Industry Price of the French Acoustical Society and in 2011 with the Research Gold Decibel of National Council against noise.
