About Australian Mediator and Dispute Resolution Accreditation Standards (AMDRAS) Board

The Australian Mediator and Dispute Resolution Accreditation Standards (AMDRAS) Board (formerly known as the Mediator Standards Board or the MSB) is the governing body entrusted to maintain and develop accredited mediation and dispute resolution standards in Australia.

AMDRAS provides a way for mediation practitioners, mediation service providers and training providers involved in non-determinative dispute resolution to maintain a consistent, high quality standard of service.

AMDRAS is an accreditation system (formerly known as NMAS) for mediators and dispute resolution practitioners which ensures consumer protection, quality and consistency of mediation and training services.

The National Register, maintained by the AMDRAS Board, is the complete list of accredited mediators in Australia.

Since its inception in 2008, AMDRAS members have included many state and national government bodies, institutions and law societies, community organisations and training providers.
