Mediawijs

Mediawijs is the Flemish Knowledge Centre for Digital and Media Literacy at imec vzw. Mediawijs helps the inhabitants of Flanders and Brussels to actively, creatively, critically and consciously use media and ict to take part in our society. For this Mediawijs
- starts up networks, deliberation and cooperation in and with the Flemish digital and media literacy field,
- inspires the Flemish digital and media literacy field with training, knowledge sharing and practice development,
- stimulates citizens to behave digitally and media literate with information and campaigns,
- keeps tabs on developments in all forms of ict, media and digital en media literacy,
- plays an active role in the development of vision and policy on digital and media literacy in Flanders, Brussels and Europe.
