University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

Over 600,000 visitors explore the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum each year. The Arboretum features more than 1,200 acres of magnificent gardens, exhibits, sculpture, model landscapes, and natural areas - from woodlands, wetlands to prairie. Throughout the year the Arboretum hosts world class exhibits, special events, conferences, tours and education programs... All designed with great care to inspire and delight visitors of all ages.
The fall and winter months are magical! In addition to special events, winter lights and exhibits, visitors can explore miles of amazing winter trails. Walk, jog, hike, snow shoe or cross country ski - the winter shapes, sounds and scenic vistas are breathtaking. After, come indoors and explore the gift store, or art galleries.
