MMRA

MMRA Ltd is an independent company within the Mott MacDonald Group, responsible for providing assurance and certification services to all areas of the railway industry. MMRA provides assessment, inspection, certification and consultancy services, giving customers confidence that their products or services meet the requirements of railway legislation, national and international standards, using competent professional experts. MMRA also has rolling stock accreditation under RIS 2700 as an ‘Assessment Party’ for railway vehicle acceptance. In addition to railway subsystem certification, MMRA is also undertaking assessment, audit and certification of Fire Risk Management Systems (FRMS) to the BS 9997:2019 standard, developed by BSI.
