About MN School-Based Health Alliance

The Minnesota School-Based Health Alliance is a nonprofit that works to optimize health outcomes and education equity for young people in Minnesota. Known as "The Alliance," we are the resource hub and advocacy team that leads the Minnesota community effort to build access to integrated healthcare in schools.

Every aspect of what we do is ultimately for the purpose of serving the youth in our communities. We are the experts on the School-Based Health Center network, and it is our job to navigate the complexity of this system, and advocate for the advancement and expansion of healthcare provided in schools.

We offer technical assistance, training, and resources to the hosting school districts and operators of School-Based Health Centers, those responsible for providing direct care to students. We understand the variety of successful working models of SBHC's in Minnesota, and present solutions based on time-tested best practices.

We partner with educators, healthcare organizations, public health teams, youth advocates, community leaders, and government offices to sustain and support health initiatives in schools. Expanding school-based healthcare to reach more students is going to take all hands on-deck, and we are here to be the connector, educator, and advocate leading the way.

We are here to help grow and evolve the healthcare for our community and its children.
