About Modern Diagnostic & Research Centre
Since the inception of MODERN in 1985, it has been our effort to bring the best and latest technology available anywhere in the world so as to diagnose diseases at an early stage and thus help the patient and the clinician in better management of illness.
Keeping with our ethos, we entered into new and highly technical field of
High-End Molecular and Cytogenetic and FISH tests, with the introduction of Microarray, Capillary Sequencer and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) etc. We provide complete range of these tests covering the entire spectrum of diseases such as NIPT, Genetic Disorders, PGD, PGS, Cancer Panels etc. We have also added 12-color Flow cytometer for diagnosis of Leukaemias, MRD, LC-MS/MS for New-Born Screening, Drug Assays, Steroids, Vitamins etc.
We also have installed 3-Tesla fully digital 24-channel MRI machine, 128 Slice Dual Source Dual Energy CT Scan that can give chemical composition of renal stones, best of Ultrasound Machines and Lab Equipments.
MODERN has expanded not only in providing full range of tests but is also spreading its wings geographically with addition of satellite labs and collection facilities. We have crossed national boundaries to reach international with establishment of collection facilities/labs in Nepal, Middle East, CIS and African Continent.
