About Morten Group, LLC

Morten Group focuses on organizational and resource development, including workshops on diversity and building communities of inclusion and access, racial equity integration and strategic planning, executive coaching and succession planning, and board recruitment and retention. A national consulting firm based in Chicago, our work spans across the country. Highlights of recent work include: developing and leading a webinar series on organizational assessment for consultants in the United States and abroad; conducting Board development training and providing resource development services to grantees of Crossroads Fund and Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo; and facilitating strategic planning work with a number of organizations, including NYC Anti-Violence Project in New York, New York and 826CHI, Asian Americans Advancing Justice | Chicago and Communities United, formerly Albany Park Neighborhood Council in Chicago, IL. Morten Group has significant experience in data collection and community engagement for research studies, most notably; on behalf of The Chicago Community Trust, Morten Group developed the data collection tools, collected the data and led community engagement for over 2,000 respondents towards the development of guidelines for the LGBT Community Fund. Currently, Morten Group is concluding at two-year community engagement role in recruitment, data collection, and event management for an NIH-funded study at the University of Chicago College of Medicine called “Your Voice! Your Health!,” a study focused on LGBTQ people of color and their relationship to health care providers. Morten Group offers a wide array of services that are customized specifically for each client.
