Movement is Life is a national coalition working to break the cycle of chronic conditions and mobility challenges that disproportionately impact women 45 and older—especially those in underserved communities.
Through dynamic programs like Operation Change, the Health Disparities Podcast, and our annual Movement is Life Summit, we bring together healthcare leaders, community advocates, researchers, and policymakers to drive solutions that improve quality of life and create lasting change.
✨ Our mission: Movement is Life is a multidisciplinary coalition committed to eliminating racial, ethnic, and gender disparities in health by promoting movement as a pathway to improved overall health and quality of life—focusing especially on African American, Latina, and rural women in underserved communities.
