Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. With over a century of history, we have been at the forefront of countless pivotal moments in the fight for racial equity. From participating in the Civil Rights Movement and advocating for landmark legislation like the Civil Rights Act of 1964, to addressing issues such as voter suppression, police brutality, and educational disparities, we have remained committed to our vision of equality for all.
At the NAACP Las Vegas Branch, we work tirelessly to bring about positive change and create a more inclusive and just society. We engage in community outreach, education, and advocacy to address systemic racism and help individuals and communities overcome barriers. We provide resources and support to those facing discrimination, and collaborate with local organizations, businesses, and government entities to implement effective strategies for change.
