About Us
The Navrongo-Bolgatanga Catholic Diocesan Development Organisation (NABOCADO) is the development arm of the Catholic Diocese of Navrongo-Bolgatanga, covering the Upper East and North East Regions of Ghana. For over three decades, NABOCADO has been committed to promoting human dignity, peace, justice, and sustainable development in some of Ghana’s most vulnerable communities.
We design and implement programs that address critical needs across:
Peacebuilding & Social Cohesion – facilitating dialogue, mediation, and community structures for conflict prevention and peace.
Humanitarian Response & Resilience – supporting refugees, asylum seekers, and vulnerable populations with emergency relief and livelihood recovery.
Sustainable Agriculture & Climate Action – empowering smallholder farmers to adopt climate-smart practices that improve food security and environmental sustainability.
Health & Social Services – advancing access to quality healthcare, nutrition, and social protection.
Good Governance & Advocacy – strengthening local governance systems, justice, and civic participation.
Through strategic partnerships with international donors, faith-based institutions, civil society, and government agencies, NABOCADO has grown into a leading faith-based NGO that is recognized nationally and internationally for its impact-driven, community-led, and sustainable development interventions.
