About AMPP Benelux Chapter

AMPP Benelux is one of the European sections of AMPP; the Association for Materials Protection and Performance. We are a global community of professionals dedicated to materials protection through the advancement of corrosion control and protective coatings. The organization offers technical training and certification programs, conferences, industry standards, reports, publications, technical journals, government relations activities and more.
AMPP represents the largest global community of corrosion and protective coatings professionals. Our members are dedicated to advancing technical and practical expertise in corrosion prevention and control. AMPP provides members with the knowledge and resources to ensure high performance materials are used to build and maintain sustainable infrastructure.

The Benelux Section represents the geographical area of Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp are the main gateways into the European mainland. Within the northern part of the area, considerable gas production takes place. The North Sea houses many different industrial activities of which oil, gas, and offshore wind production have become important economical drivers.

The Benelux Section represents >500 AMPP members, employed in many different industries. The section organizes several courses and activities, like a refinery course and the yearly Coating Inspector Program (CIP) day. We are actively recruiting new members to join and contribute to the local technical community.
