NMT Media Foundation (formerly Namibia Media Trust)

The NMT Media Foundation promotes a free and self-sustainable media climate in Africa where independent media can prosper and contribute to the building of inclusive societies to ensure that citizens access credible information to facilitate their participation in decision-making.
The activities of the NMT cover policy interventions and advocacy that promote media freedom, free expression and access to information, research and capacity building for journalists and media professionals.
The NMT proposes to achieve its goals through seeking strategic partnerships with organisations that amplify the impact of its policy advocacy and training initiatives, providing platforms for critical dialogue and technical skills training for media professionals, policy makers and citizens.
