We’re the North East’s largest and most influential business membership network.
We support, connect and represent more than 2,000 organisations employing 40% of the region’s workforce. We ensure our members are at the heart of building a thriving economy and making our region the best place to live and work.
Since 1815 we’ve been a trusted business community and respected network, owned by and accountable to our members.
We exist to deliver value for businesses and help them be the best they can be. We support members through cost-savings, business services and international trade support. We connect members through our leading events and awards programme. We strongly represent members as the multi-sector, collective voice of North East businesses.
Our British Chambers of Commerce network extends to 51 accredited UK Chambers and accesses 75 global markets; ensuring our businesses are well connected and their voice is heard at home and abroad.
