Niksa is a pioneer in Iran’s emerging aquaculture industry, operating since 2014. Our vision is to establish a sustainable and leading vertical in seafood production. We are dedicated to delivering premium-quality aquatic products that foster a healthier future and elevate food culture.
Developing the fish farming value chain lies at the heart of Niksa’s vision. We currently operate 25 hatchery tanks producing up to 1 million fry, 30 nursery tanks in a recirculating system with a 30-ton capacity, and 24 cages holding 3,000 tons. This integrated chain—covering design, site selection, equipment sourcing, barge installation, and management—is developed in partnership with Norway’s AKVA Group. Our expansion plan is to increase marine farm capacity to 5,000 tons in the Persian Gulf.
Niksa’s product range includes:
- Specialized: fingerlings, fry, live feed, and broodstock
- Commercial: frozen and smoked fillets marketed and exported under the Inas brand
