About NMR Online Limited
NMR Online Limited is a software development company, based in Manchester, UK. We specialise in online Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) software, for NMR data analysis on the web.
"NMR Online" began as a lockdown project in March 2020, with the aim of discovering whether it was possible to view a spectrum, and analyse NMR data, in a web browser. Through extensive research, not only did we discover that it was possible to view and analyse data, there was potential for so much more!
… little did we know at the time that this was only the beginning of NMR Online!
As time passed, and with restricted movement still in place, we turned to X, and began posting our results.
Almost immediately, our posts gained the attention of the academic NMR community, who liked our endeavours, and wanted to know when we were going to release our fledgling online NMR software.
Initially, the level of interest surprised us, but ultimately, the NMR spectroscopy community encouraged us to keep going, to see where the idea of a web based NMR software platform could go.
This early encouragement shaped how we develop NMR software, whereby we actively take a community-led approach. This involves using social media to communicate and interact with NMR spectroscopists worldwide, to ascertain their requirements, to ensure we engineer the NMR software they want, and will be able to use!
NMR Online Limited has grown to become a recognisable brand within the NMR community, where we have become known for our friendly, knowledgeable and professional manner. Our NMR software also enjoys positive responses from academics, because we deliver what they want, and based on our industry experience, develop software with leading technologies and modern software engineering principles… this means our NMR software is not only intuitive and up-to-date, it is rigorously tested and fully supported, too!
It's time to conclude, so in true 80s movie fashion: “so, this is our story, but it’s only just begun.”
