Our mission, at North Star Children’s Homes, is to transform the lives of children once in our care by providing a safe, stable, trustworthy and happy home environment that nurtures their physical, emotional, and educational needs.

Our business plan has been written to explore the potential for creating a new solution for the crisis in children's social care in the UK and to fill a large unmet need. It is based on the Scandinavian model for providing safe and stable home environments through networks of small, therapeutic, trauma-informed, and educationally thoughtful children's homes.
Adopting this family-modelled care, we will empower children in our care to break the cycle of intergenerational care, heal from their past traumas, and build a bright and fulfilling future for themselves and dramatically reducing costs for society.
