Northwest Naturals is proudly owned by Morasch Meats in Portland OR. Morasch Meats has been a family-owned business since 1956, specializing in meat processing products for independent retailers. The facility officially became a USDA inspected and certified facility in 1980 and shortly after they were asked to produce private-label pet food under the strict guidelines of a USDA facility. Northwest Naturals mission is to provide pet-lovers the option of feeding their pets health-enhancing, life-extending, easy-to-feed food that is carefully formulated based upon the most advanced science and principles of raw food diet preparation. We believe in the premise that BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) improves the quality of life for pets. It is our mission to play an active role in the development of healthy companions in our dogs and cats.
