About OGANDAZE AFRICA FOUNDATION
OGANDAZE AFRICA FOUNDATION is Women refugee led organization located in Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement Kamwenge district, Uganda.
Prime motto: “Together for combating extreme poverty and unemployment”
In 2022 a group of women educated refugees and men working in the entrepreneurship and youth skills development, Generative Agriculture and financial inclusion got together to form a women refugee led organization for addressing the most pressing problems of the youth's women, girls, men and marginalized people in rural and the refugee settlement are facing in Africa. True these strengths the organization was called “OGANDAZE AFRICA FOUNDATION”.
Whilst operating in UGANDA, Kamwenge district, Nkoma katalyemba town council, Rwamwanja refugee settlement.
OAF is carrying a range of interventions in the areas of entrepreneurships and youth skills development, community green skills hubs establishment for generative agriculture, financial inclusion networking and linkages to create and improve socio-enterprises or businesses among young rural women, Girls, men and marginalized people to combat or reduce extreme poverty and unemployment in rural and refugee communities across Uganda.
The type of activities developed by the organization range from advocacy and capacity strengthening, microenterprise or small businesses development and growth, selection, planning of management for income generating activities and business coaching and business plans development, asset transfer, cash transfer, village saving and loan association and financial literacy to eliminate extreme poverty and unemployment in rural and refugee settlements in Uganda.
OAF is engaging to work in rural and refugee settings areas of Africa communities where most of the people living on 2 dollars or less per day.
