About Ohana Health
In today’s world of unprecedented longevity, living better as we live longer has become a dominant theme. With 1 billion people 60 years or older today and growing to 2 billion by 2050, no government or healthcare system will be able to afford to growing costs of caring for an ever older and more numerous population unless we change the paradigm. Within this age demographic, the segment aged 85 and older is the fastest growing and requires, on average, a higher level of care. The World Health Organization highlights the need to empower a new vocation of caregivers to help address the issues of successful ageing.
Around the world, there is a growing gap of caregivers, and even fewer who are trained and certified, to provide this kind of care. At the same time, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the World Economic Forum has both recognized caregivers as one of the fastest growing vocations.
Ohana partners with the aged-care industry to provide best-in-class vocation training & education for their employees - paid care workers - who help older adults to age with dignity at home and in other settings. Our person-centered approach reduces the burden on healthcare systems & budgets while helping older adults to live their best life.
