About Old Queen Street Cafe
In the heart of old Westminster, in between Westminster Abbey and St James’s Park, is the Old Queen Street Cafe — the home of all day dining, good food and good conversation.
Chef Elliot Spurdle (ex Wolseley, Delaunay) has developed a menu based on the finest seasonal ingredients from around Britain, at affordable prices. Taking inspiration from traditional London cafes, but with the highest standard of food and comfort, OQS emerged from the heritage of the area. With political magazine UnHerd upstairs, and the Palace of Westminster just over the road, heritage is everywhere.
On the first and second floor of our stunning townhouse are versatile events spaces that are available for private hire. With capacity for 40 seated or up to 100 standing, you’re welcome to join us for an intimate sit-down dinner, host your business events with a panel setup or let us help you celebrate your significant life events, such as weddings, baptisms, and birthday parties.
We can cater for standing events, canapé & bowl food receptions, sharing boards or sit-down set menus.
