Overview

About One Health and Development Initiative

One Health and Development Initiative (OHDI) is a global nonprofit organization applying the One Health approach to address interconnected challenges across human, animal, plant, and environmental health to advance sustainable health, well-being, and development for all.

We recognize that the health and well-being of people, animals, plants, and ecosystems are deeply interconnected, and that achieving lasting sustainable impact requires holistic, collaborative, and evidence-based approaches. Guided by this understanding, OHDI promotes education, advocacy, research, and practical solutions that bridge sectors and disciplines to build healthier, more resilient, and sustainable communities.

Through our program interventions, research initiatives, policy engagement, technology-driven solutions, and communication platforms, we apply the principles of One Health to real-world challenges. Our work fosters collaboration, strengthens local and global capacity, and drives innovation that improves health, well-being, and sustainable development for all.

We welcome you to this growing network of like-minded individuals and professionals learning, utilizing, and implementing the One Health approach for sustainable health, development, and impact for all.
