One Roof: Uniting Central Alabama to End Homelessness

One Roof is the backbone organization for our homeless response system in Jefferson, St. Clair, and Shelby counties, commonly referred to as the homeless Continuum of Care (CoC). Our mission as the leader of our Continuum of Care is clear—to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring—by uniting over 60 partner organizations across nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies. Through these collaborative partnerships, we address the challenges of homelessness, from street outreach to long-term housing solutions. Together, we envision a community where everyone has a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home.
