About Opera Europa
Opera Europa is the professional association of opera companies and festivals in Europe. It currently serves 233 companies in 44 countries.
Member services include 2 thematic conferences each year, specialist events, consulting, and rich information systems (website, databases, mailing lists) to facilitate the sharing of information and good practice among members.
Opera Europa recently launched Operabook - www.operabook.org - a custom-built database referencing artists, roles and productions as a main tool for its members.
Opera Europa is the lead coordinator of OperaVision - www.operavision.eu - a free streaming service for opera performances and about opera supported by the European Union's Creative Europe programme.
Its main office is in Brussels, where it is registered as a non-profit organisation under Belgian law.
