Overview

About Operation Red Nose Winnipeg

The Operation Red Nose community safety initiative has been active during the festive season in the Winnipeg community since 1995.

Operated entirely by volunteers from the last weekend of November through until New Year's Eve, our primary motivation is safety on our roads. We help drivers, their passengers, and their vehicles get to their destination if they are intoxicated, fatigued, or just feel unsafe to drive.

We proudly send out a team of our valued volunteers to your location, and will drive you and your passengers to each of your respective destinations in the drivers vehicle, all across the city.

The service is FREE, although we accept voluntary donations that go to our host charity, Winnipeg Kids Foundation, which distributes donations to partnering co-hosts and underprivileged youth programs such as educational bursaries, scholarships, school breakfast programs, and after-school daycare programs in our city.

Please also join us in thanking our provincial and local sponsors, community businesses, and supporters who help to ensure the program can operate. See our website and social media for complete details.
