Overview

About Oryx Simulations

Supported by cutting-edge technology, Oryx Simulations develops fully-integrated authentic machine simulators that both increase safety and reduce costs and climate footprint for the customers of machinery manufacturers. With over 20 years’ experience, we create custom-made solutions in close cooperation with machinery manufacturers, and serve as an effective partner in their innovation and sales operations. Oryx Simulations is a Umeå-based Swedish company that was founded in 1999 and is owned by Komatsu. We are world leaders in machine-realistic, brand-specific simulator systems for vehicle applications. Our goal is always to enhance the value of the real machine. To ensure that the simulators reflect the real-world experience of a machine, our simulators are designed in cooperation with the machine manufacturers. We are an independent supplier that offers tailor-made simulation services. Our business concept entails the design, development, production, delivery and provision of support for simulators in accordance with our clients’ needs. Oryx is active on a global market, and we have designed and built simulators for more than fifty different machines and delivered over 1 000 systems worldwide. The simulators we supply are used mainly for product marketing, operator training or as an integral part of our partners’ product development processes. Our principal business areas to date are Mining, Construction, Ports, Forestry, Airports and Cargo. At Oryx we believe in the strength of the team, and we always strive to be transparent, respectful, and helpful. #WeChallengeReality #MadeInUme
