OSCE Gender Issues Programme

Achieving peace, security, and prosperity requires the inclusion of all people in society. OSCE participating States are committed to making gender equality a reality everywhere—at home, in public life, politics, the military, the economy, the environment, and all areas of human rights and fundamental freedoms.

The OSCE Gender Issues Programme equips OSCE executive structures and participating States with the expertise and tools needed to fulfill this commitment. It offers guidance and support for advancing gender equality within OSCE institutions and field operations.

The Programme develops operational tools, guidelines, and training materials to help OSCE staff and stakeholders integrate a gender perspective across their work. It organizes events and implements projects focused on gender equality issues.
