About Out4Cricket
We work with and support the LGBTQ+ community and stakeholders in cricket to create inclusive environments that increase community participation through education, advocacy, research, promotion and resources.
Out4Cricket was set up following the success of Graces and Birmingham Unicorns Cricket Clubs over the last few years. The clubs demonstrated that the LGBTQ+ community wants to engage with cricket, but many, have not found a way to get involved that includes them for who they are. The lessons learned from the growth of the two clubs led to conversations with cricket stakeholders, counties and the England and Wales Cricket Board to find ways to share good practices and make the game more inclusive. Out4Cricket now leads this work in the UK and is working across all levels of the game to make it as inclusive for the LGBTQ+ community as possible. Cricket is a brilliant game where lifelong friends are made, and we want to ensure everyone can play and be their authentic selves.
