Out of Use is a provider of circular services specialized in the secure, sustainable and compliant processing of obsolete equipment across IT, electronics and e-mobility.
We help organizations unlock ecological, social and economic value by managing their unused and obsolete assets through a fully integrated circular approach. By combining security, transparency and sustainability, Out of Use empowers businesses to meet their ESG objectives, comply with evolving regulations and contribute to the circular economy.
To deliver this mission, our activities are structured into three complementary business units. Each unit plays a distinct role within the circular value chain, ensuring that every device, component or material is managed in the most sustainable and value maximizing way.
1. Reuse of IT and electronics
Through secure data wiping, testing and refurbishment, we ensure that valuable hardware reenters the market safely and sustainably, maximizing both environmental and financial value.
This reuse process is partly enabled through Back in Use, our own webshop offering premium quality refurbished electronics. Next to regular B2C-customers, employees of our client companies can repurchase decommissioned refurbished devices for personal use, creating an accessible and transparent circular model that benefits both the organization and its people.
2. Recycling of e-waste
When reuse is no longer possible, we provide high quality recycling for all WEEE.
Our certified processes recover valuable raw materials, reduce environmental pressure and offer full traceability and compliance with WEEE standards.
3. E-mobility
With the rapid rise of e mobility, sustainable lifecycle management has become crucial.
Out of Use offers specialized solutions for the reuse and recycling of e mobility components, including batteries, charging systems, car cabling, airbags, inflators and other pyrotechnic and electronic equipment.
