Overview

About Pachaysana

Pachaysana is an Ecuador-based foundation that weaves ecological restoration, intercultural education, and cultural revitalization into a collective vision for just and sustainable futures. We partner with Indigenous and local communities to regenerate ecosystems, re-story identities, and foster reciprocal relationships between people and the Earth. Our four core programs embody this mission: Rehearsing Change, a community-based study abroad initiative where students and communities co-create knowledge through arts and dialogue; Humans for Abundance, which connects global co-restorers with Indigenous families restoring forests and practicing regenerative agriculture; Children of the Living Forest, an intercultural school where Amazonian youth learn to become forest protectors through ancestral wisdom and innovative pedagogy; and Unlearning, immersive retreats and workshops that challenge dominant paradigms and cultivate radical reciprocity. Together, these programs form a holistic approach where restoration and education are not projects, but ways of life.
