About Pakse Academy
Pakse Academy started in 2022 as a U.S. Embassy-funded youth leadership project in Champasak province, empowering young people through leadership skill-building and volunteerism. In 2023, the program expanded, with former volunteers stepping into leadership roles, benefiting nearly 180 youth.
In late 2023, we founded the Youth Power Center to provide free leadership training and foster community collaboration. After winning an investment grant in 2024, we evolved into Pakse Academy—a social enterprise dedicated to delivering high-quality, tailored English education and holistic development programs, as well as providing grants for our students to implement community-based projects, fostering real-world impact and leadership. Our diverse team of teachers and graduates from Laos, Australia, and New Zealand work to equip Lao students with practical skills to succeed locally and internationally.
Pakse Academy is committed to sustainable growth, empowering young people through education, leadership, and global opportunities.
