About Peregrine Capital
Peregrine Capital is South Africa's longest-running hedge fund manager. Our purpose is to create wealth for our clients with superior risk adjusted returns over the medium to long term.
We currently manage over R15 Billion of investor assets through our two local flagship hedge funds which are open to institutional and retail clients and can be accessed through all major LISP platforms. We offer a long-only offshore equity fund which launched in 2019.
Our Peregrine Capital High Growth QI Hedge Fund is the first fund in South Africa to achieve 100X an investor’s initial investment – R1 million invested in the fund in February 2000 is now worth more than R100 million today*. Our Peregrine Capital Pure Hedge QI Hedge Fund has also returned 100X and has not had a negative year since its inception in July 1998**.

Peregrine Capital Collective Investments (RF) Proprietary Limited, is an approved manager of collective investment schemes in terms of the Collective Investment Schemes Control Act, 2002.
