The Power Connection

The Power Connection is the first networking event & newsletter platform devoted entirely to the distributed energy business that originated in the Permian and other US oilfields with tie-ins to AI data centers, C&I, crypto mining BTM power use cases. The company was formed in 2025 by two energy business communications veterans. Co-founders Peter Cook and Joseph Triepke simultaneously recognized the need for a dedicated information sharing forum tailored to business leader needs in this quickly changing sector. The Power Connection’s mission is to address this need by providing thoughtful events and information for executives, investors, and managers from the worlds of oil & gas, data centers, bitcoin, renewables, finance & investment. The format, topics, and speakers at our conferences are carefully selected to advance this mission.
