K. N. Toosi University of Technology Physics Students Scientific Association

The Physics Students’ Scientific Association at K. N. Toosi University of Technology (KNTU) is a student-led academic organization committed to advancing scientific knowledge, research engagement, and professional development among physics students. Our purpose is to help students learn more deeply and to cultivate passion for their discipline by providing structured opportunities that complement formal coursework. We organize seminars, workshops, and lecture series featuring faculty and visiting researchers; support student-led research projects and conference participation; and offer training in scientific writing and presentation skills. The Association also promotes science communication and outreach activities aimed at making physics more accessible to broader audiences. The Association maintains an active partnership with the Department of Physics and faculty mentors to ensure that its programs are academically relevant and responsive to student needs. Through coordinated seminars, joint projects, and regular dialogue with instructors, we design activities that complement the curriculum, create mentorship opportunities, and provide meaningful feedback to the department about student interests and learning gaps. Membership is open to all students, researchers, professionals, and enthusiasts—who are interested in physics and wish to engage in activities, projects, or research related to the field, regardless of institutional affiliation or geographic location.
